Horace Hunter, Executive
Director

Due to the many changes in Healthcare
Technology that effects the biomed role in maintaining
and repairing medical devices GBIS offer many opportunities
for biomeds to develop skills in modern technology. GBIS
coordinate workshops at many institutions, conducts an
annual conference and support several charity
organizations.
The vendors that support GBIS are committed to rendering
the best services possible to better our society. GBIS is
serious in keeping all members in good standings with fellow
members. GBIS welcome all members that are for the betterment
of improving Healthcare Technology.
I ask all vendors to support GBIS and all members to
support GBIS Vendors. There are benefits to all.
I encourage anyone that wants to improve healthcare
technology and support charities to join GBIS.
Christa Shiver, President
As an educator in biomedical technology I understand how
important it is for students to interact with biomeds in the
field. GBIS provide students the opportunity to network
with member vendors and institutions to gain insight on the
everyday happenings in the medical field. Through internship
programs, workshops and conferences students can get a
first hand view of Healthcare Management.
I consider students to be the future
managers, supervisors and department heads of our biomed
departments. They will remember those that helped them just as
we remember those that aided us in our career development.
I encourage anyone that wants to improve healthcare
technology and support charity to join GBIS.
